Richard and Judy Book Club
The “Richard & Judy” show on Channel 4, is hosted by the husband and wife team of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, they are recognised as having being among the UK’s most popular and influential TV presenters.
As part of their daily show on Channel 4 they feature The Richard & Judy Book Club where books authored by generally new and unknown writers are featured. Each week one book is chosen to be reviewed and discussed in studio. Viewers are encouraged to set up their own reading groups to read and discuss their selections
The book club list culminates in the selection of a ”Read of the Year” which is announced at an awards ceremony.
A Summer Read i.e. a summer holiday “reading list” is also selected, where Richard and Judy choose a book and invite a celebrity or two to review the book and discuss in studio.
